It's interesting to me that this song is essentially about the legendary "Edelweiss", (translation: "Noble White", but also known in English as "Silverstar"), but Rammstein changed the flower to a rose, presumably because a rose is a more universally known symbol of beauty and desire? Or maybe just because it sounds better, hell, I dunno.
